Hey y’all! I’ve got a couple big announcements with this release:
1. I now have a Patreon! I’m fully aware that putting comics behind a paywall is going to upset a lot of folks, but I’m hoping that shifting to this early access release strategy actually makes MORE of my comics available for free. That brings me to the other big announcement…
2. All of my future comics will (eventually) be FREE! There’s more detail on my Patreon page, but the gist is that Tier 1 Patrons will get access to my shorter (<100 pages) comics two weeks before they’re posted on my blog/podia/itch in addition to other benefits listed on my Patreon page, and Tier 2 Patrons will get access to my longform (>100 pages) comics a whole SIX MONTHS before they’re posted on my blog/podia/itch. So the goal is to have everything I do available for free eventually. Any paycomic I published before this will still only be available for purchase since it would be unfair to everyone who has already paid for them. I hope this compromise works out for everyone, and it’s something I want to test through the rest of the year. I’ve seen so many comments and notes from people who can’t afford to buy any paycomics and I truly want to share these stories with anyone who’s interested in this niche genre, but I unfortunately also need to be able to pay rent every month since I wouldn’t be able to make anything if I was homeless 😅
So thanks for sticking around! I’m still unbelievably grateful that so many people enjoy my stories, and I’ll do my best to keep improving everywhere I can. I hope you’ll consider becoming a Patron to enjoy this comic right now, but even if you don’t, I hope you enjoy it in 2 weeks once it’s on my blog!
